Noam Chomsky Attacks Israel’s ‘Expansion Over Security’ at UCLA Lecture on ‘Palestine in Crisis’

May 9, 2011

Chomsky changes his mind on WMDS in Iraq?

Actually, public opinion in Egypt is much more complicated than that, and while there’s obviously variation across individual polls and over time, there’s no support for Chomky’s claim of “80 percent” across the region supporting Iran’s acquisition of nuclear weapons. In fact, according to a Pew Global Attitudes survey in April 2010, “a majority of respondents in Turkey, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon as well as Israel said the spread of nuclear weapons was a major threat” (the number was 41 percent in Egypt).

Pushing ‘Islamophobia’ at UCLA?

UCLA Palestine Awareness Week.

…Muslim Student Association Pledge of Allegiance:
Jihad is my spirit, I will die to establish Islam

But these are only quick examples of the kind of propaganda one hears at a Noam Chomsky lecture. Indeed, what’s even more fascinating than hearing Chomsky’s America-bashing is observing the rock star status he’s afforded by the huge crowd of collegiate wannabe bohemians, diehard pro-terror communists, and the campus Islamist jihadis who thronged the event. I’ll post pictures later. Chomsky was swarmed by extremist acolytes upon entering the lecture hall. Upon speaking, it was as if his attacks on “American imperialism” and “corporate dominance” were like throwing bags of candy to children. I arrived at UCLA at 5:00pm, and the event was scheduled from 6:00 to 8:00pm.

Without citing a single piece of evidence—
At the conclusion of the event, Chomsky responded to questions and went off on his familiar rant about how those who proclaim themselves pro-Israel are actually working feverishly for its moral degeneration and ultimate destruction. Chomsky then returned of the comparison of Israel to apartheid South Africa, and while he admitted key differences, he argued that in one key similarity the time will come when Israel’s crisis of legitimation becomes overwhelming, and forces upon it a reckoning for the survival of the Jewish state.

I hope Chomsky starts listening before he dies

Muslim Student Association Pledge of Allegiance: Jihad is my spirit, I will die to establish Islam

March 21, 2011

The video is from January 2011 at UCLA., Muslim Student Association Pledge of Allegiance: Jihad is my spirit..I will die to establish Islam, who writes:

Dear useful idiots, this is your wake up call.

The last part of the video reads:

The Muslim Student Association’s pledge of allegiance is a restatement of the Muslim Brotherhood’s credo which states:

Allah is our objective
The Prophet is our leader
Qur’an is our law
Jihad is our way
Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope

The credo’s are nearly identical because the Muslim Student Association was founded by the Muslim Brotherhood:

Established (by members of the Muslim Brotherhood) in January 1963 at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, the Muslim Students Association of the United States and Canada, or MSA (also known as MSA National) currently has chapters on nearly 600 college campuses (including more than 150 chapters affiliated with the national organization) across North America.
In its earliest days, MSA was financed largely by Saudi Arabia. In return, says a February 2008 New York Times piece, the organization’s leaders “pushed the kingdom’s puritan, Wahhabi strain of Islam.” In the 1960s and 70s, adds the Times piece, MSA chapters “advocated theological and political positions derived from radical Islamist organizations and would brook no criticism of Saudi Arabia.” From its inception, MSA had close links with the extremist Muslim World League, whose chapters’ websites have featured not only Osama bin Laden’s propaganda, but also publicity-recruiting campaigns for Wahhabi subversion of the Chechen struggle in Russia. According to author and Islam expert Stephen Schwartz, MSA is a key lobbying organization for the Wahhabi sect of Islam.
MSA was named in a May 1991 Muslim Brotherhood document — titled “An Explanatory Memorandum on the General Strategic Goal for the Group in North America” – as one of the Brotherhood’s 29 likeminded “organizations of our friends” that shared the common goal of destroying America and turning it into a Muslim nation. These “friends” were identified by the Brotherhood as groups that could help teach Muslims “that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands … so that … God’s religion [Islam] is made victorious over all other religions.”

The MSA has branches on hundreds of campuses in the U.S. and Canada and many of its campus leaders have engaged in and been arrested for waging jihad. The video above clearly indicates MSA members at UCLA, and elsewhere, are willing to die spreading Islam. The Koran is their law (sharia), and jihad is their way.

UCLA’s having Palestine Awareness Week.

February 18, 2011

I just saw a Facebook page advertising UCLA’s “Palestine Awareness Week” next week.
I deeply believe in awareness for Palestine, so here is my small contribution to the cause:

  • Are you aware that Palestine was never a country?
  • Are you aware that the word Palestine is Roman, not Arabic?
  • Are you aware that Jerusalem was never the capital of any Arab nation?
  • Are you aware that before 1920, the area known as Palestine included much or all of what is now Jordan?
  • Are you aware that practically every written history of the Palestinian Arabs starts after Jews started returning to the area in the late 1800s?
  • Are you aware that practically no Arabs called themselves “Palestinian” before 1964?
  • Are you aware that the first Palestinian Arab leader, Haj Amin al Husseini, originally wanted a “Greater Syria” to include Palestine and only changed his mind in the 1920s?
  • Are you aware that this same Husseini instigated murderous rampages against the Jews of Palestine – including Jewish communities that had been there for centuries?
  • Are you aware that this same Husseini colluded with Hitler to perform genocide on all Jews during World War II?
  • Are you aware the Palestinian Arabs have never accepted any peace plan that included a Jewish state?
  • Are you aware that modern terrorism was created by Palestinian Arabs?
  • Are you aware that Palestinian Arabs never demanded their own West Bank or Gaza state when they were under Jordanian and Egyptian control?
  • Are you aware that Yasir Arafat embezzled as much as $3 billion from his people, yet he is still regarded as a hero and no Palestinian Arab leader is trying to find his stolen money?
  • Are you aware that the constitution of Palestine states that Sharia law would be the main source of legislation?
  • Are you aware that Mahmoud Abbas bankrolled the 1972 Olympic massacre of Israeli athletes, and that he praised the ringleader of that attack as recently as 2010?
  • Are you aware that Mahmoud Abbas’ college thesis denied the Holocaust?
  • Are you aware that Hamas does not want a Palestinian Arab state but instead a pan-Islamic caliphate that spans the world?
  • Are you aware that the Palestinian Authority still officially states that there was no Jewish Temple in Jerusalem?
  • Are you aware that the PLO wants to build a state with no Jews in it?
  • Are you aware that the elected Hamas government has laws discriminating against women?
  • Are you aware that Yasir Arafat was born in Egypt, but Ariel Sharon was born in Palestine?
  • Are you aware that the biggest heroes to ordinary Palestinian Arabs are terrorists like Dalal Mughrabi and Samir Kuntar?
  • Are you aware that the original 1964 PLO charter specifically excluded the West Bank and Gaza from the land they wanted, and their only desire was to destroy Israel within the Green Line?
  • Are you aware that not a single refugee camp has been dismantled in the territories governed by the Palestinian Authority and Hamas?
  • Are you aware that even after signing the Oslo Accords, Yasir Arafat publicly said that a Palestinian state is simply a stage on the way to destroying Israel altogether?
Just a small public service for Palestine Awareness Week.
