Terror Gang That Targeted Gush Etzion Busted

January 29, 2013
In a joint operation, the Shabak, IDF, and Israel Police arrested in recent months an Arab terror cell, based in Beit Fajr, adjacent to Bethlehem. The terrorists, among them members of the Tanzim – the military wing of Fatah, which controls the Palestinian Authority – confessed to being involved in planning and carrying out numerous attacks against Israelis. A news blackout on the case was lifted Monday, and details of the case were released for publication.
Among the acts of terror they carried out was a shooting attack on a bus that was traveling from the town of Migdal Oz in Gush Etzion. In addition, they fired shots at Migdal Oz itself, and then shot at IDF troops and security officials who came to the town in the wake of the attack. No one was injured in those attacks.
TerroristsThe gang said that they had a long list of terror attacks that they were planning to carry out, and that only their arrest by Israeli authorities had stopped them. The five members of the terror gang, all of them Beit Fajr residents, range in age from 21 to 35 years. The five have been indicted on numerous charges, including attempted murder, membership in an illegal terror group, and others.
Also released for publication Monday afternoon was the IDF elimination Sunday night of a Bedouin near the site of the security fence in Sinai. The Bedouin, along with a gang, met several individuals at the fence, with one of them bringing a ladder, apparently to boost himself over the fence onto the Israeli side.
The operation was interrupted by an IDF patrol, which called on the group to surrender itself. Instead, they attempted to run away, and after warning them again, soldiers, fearing that the group consisted of terrorists on their way to carry out an attack on an Israeli population center, opened fire on them, and arrested them. One of the detainees, injured as he tried to escape, later died of his wounds in Soroka Hospital in Beersheva.

This is Fatah and not Hamas. Let me repeat that… This is Fatah. The peace partner that Obama and Clinton said were moderate. There is no peace partner with people who never changed what they said they were about…. which is killing Jews as stated by Mohammad in his Quran and Hadith. The U.S. government will not admit this.

Netanyahu agreed to ceasefire after Obama promised US troops in Sinai next week?

November 25, 2012

President Obama promises to put U.S. troops in the Sinai without asking Congress? you ready for a real f’n disaster? Welcome to a bloodbath of Americans.

(RT) Israel and Palestine are momentarily at a ceasefire, but the potential reasoning behind the recess could have some real international implications. Israel’s Debka reports that the pause in fighting comes after the US promised to send troops to Sinai. According to Debka, US troops will soon be en route to the Sinai peninsula, Egyptian territory in North Africa that’s framed by the Suez Canal on the West and Israel on the East. In its northeast most point, Sinai is but a stone’s throw from Palestinian-controlled Gaza, and according to Debka, Hamas fighters there have been relying on Iranian arms smugglers to supply them with weaponry by way of Egypt. Debka reports this week that Sinai will soon be occupied by US troops, who were promised by President Barack Obama to Israel’s leaders as a condition that a ceasefire be called. Once deployed, the Americans will intervene with the rumored arms trade orchestrated by Iranians, ideally cutting off supplies for Hamas while at the same time serving as a thorn in the side of Iran. “Once the missile and arms consignments depart Iranian ports or Libyan arms bazaars, Tehran has no direct control of their transit from point to point through Egypt until they reach Sinai and their Gaza destination,” Debka reports. “All the same, a US special forces operation against the Sinai segment of the Iranian smuggling route would count as the first overt American military strike against an Iranian military interest.” The decision to send US troops to Sinai in exchange for a ceasefire was reportedly arranged early Wednesday morning after Pres. Obama made a deal over the phone with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. In the days prior, Israel was relentless in targeting Gaza, killing more than 100 persons — including civilians — during a renewed assault on Hamas. A ceasefire has since been called after a week of fight, but more military action could soon occur, claims Israel, if the flow of weapons to Gaza is not stopped. Netanyahu has been adamant with his pleas for the United States to strike Iran in an effort to disrupt its nuclear enrichment facilities, a demand which up until now has been brushed aside by Pres. Obama. The White House has up until now insisted on diplomatic measures in order to make an impact on any Iranian output, but Debka’s sources suggest that US troops may now have to intervene in Sinai if any smugglers should attempt to move weapons into Gaza. “By opening the Sinai door to an American troop deployment for Israel’s defense, recognizes that the US force also insures Israel against Cairo revoking or failing to honor the peace treaty Egypt signed with Israel in 1979,” adds Debka. According to their sources, US troops are expected in Egypt early next week. Meanwhile, American forces have all but surrounded Iran and are stationed in countless bases across the Middle East.

IDF soldier killed, another wounded thwarting terror attack on Egyptian border

September 21, 2012

An IDF soldier has been killed and another has been lightly wounded while thwarting a massive terror attack on the Egyptian border.

A heavily armed terrorist cell from the Sinai Peninsula opened fire on IDF soldiers on the Israeli – Egyptian border on Friday, killing one soldier and injuring a second, before the gunmen were killed in return fire.
Shots were fired at IDF Artillery Corps soldiers from a distance of 100 meters. One soldier sustained a bullet wound to the head and was killed immediately, IDF Spokesman Brig.-Gen. Yoav Mordechai said. The soldier has not yet been named.
The Artillery Corps force instantly returned fire, shooting dead one terrorist.

As the gun-battle raged, reinforcements from the Karkal (Wildcat) battlion – a combat unit made up of male and female soldiers – quickly arrived on the scene, and stormed the gunmen. The battalion, which had been in the area to look out for illegal African migrants, engaged the terrorists and killed the remaining two attackers.

In the heavy exchanges of fire, a suicide bomb belt around one of the terrorists went off. Shrapnel from that blast lightly injured a soldier from the Artillery Corps. He was taken to the Soroka Medical Center in Be’ersheba, where doctors operated on him.

IDF sappers recovered a large number of firearms and explosives from the terrorists ater the incident, including and RPD machine gun, a rocket propelled grenade, Kalashnikov guns, ammunition, grenades, and personal equipment. The terrorists were dressed in civilian clothing.
The attack occurred along a 17 kilometer stretch of the border where the fence has not yet been completed, in the Har Harif area.

“We don’t believe this was a kidnapping attempt. There are no terrorists in Israeli territory,” Mordechai added.

Highway 10 along the Egyptian border was shut down Thursday night – apparently due to intelligence about this attack.

It’d be nice to have Israel have the Sinai back about now… but I guess we trusted Jimmy Carter on that one. Of course history has shown us how even handed Jimmy was… ahem. Not!

MT @JSchanzer !!! #MuslimBros accuses Mohamed #Dahlan, former #Palestinian #Fatah party figure, of #Sinai attacks

August 16, 2012

Muhammad Dahlan, Central Committee member of the Palestinian Fatah movement.(Brotherhood members accuse Palestinian leader of Sinai attacks | Egypt Independent)…to those who don’t follow Palestine closely… or are just confused. This Dahlan guy was also accused of murdering Arafat. He’s the Arab’s favorite fall guy and it is a power issue that has nothing to do with anything concerning Israel.

In violation of #peace accord, #Egypt deploying troops in #Sinai without #Israel’s prior approval – #Haaretz

August 15, 2012

(Haaretz)According to the 1979 peace agreement negotiated at Camp David, Egypt is not allowed to introduce tanks into certain areas of Sinai, including the vicinity of Al-Arish, to which dozens of tanks have been transported over the past several days. The treaty also bars the use of fighter aircraft, including helicopters, but that was approved retroactively by the Israeli security cabinet.

More than a year ago, Israel agreed to allow Egypt to maintain seven military battalions and six companies in Sinai, including tank units, in addition to the forces permitted by the peace treaty itself. Before the August 5 terrorist attack, Egypt had not stationed the full complement of troops in Sinai that it was permitted. Since the attack, the Egyptians have done so, but have also exceeded the terms to which Israel has agreed.
At the moment, Israel has decided not to respond to the unilateral Egyptian moves, apparently to avoid a confrontation. Nonetheless, it is seen as a source of future problems, particularly with the entrenchment of the Muslim Brotherhood’s power in Egypt. The Egyptians could ask to have their current troop presence remain in Sinai until the end of their military operations there, although it is not clear when that would be.

Mujahedeen Shura Council of Jerusalem Claims Responsibility for Monday’s Cross-Border Attack

June 20, 2012

While the claim of responsibility, made in a video obtained by the Associated Press in the Gaza Strip, couldn’t be independently verified, it was accompanied by a separate statement with additional details on the attack posted on a website affiliated with al Qaeda.

In Monday’s attack, two gunmen infiltrated Israel from Egypt’s Sinai Desert, killing a civilian worker who was part of a team building a border fence to prevent such attacks. The two gunmen were later killed by Israeli forces.

The short video said the attack was carried out by the Mujahedeen Shura Council of Jerusalem, a murky group that was formed in April.

It identifies two men, one Egyptian and one Saudi, as the perpetrators of Monday’s attack. “Soon we will carry out a double suicide mission against the enemy troops on the Egyptian border with occupy Palestine today, Monday, June 18,” said the Saudi man.

Later Tuesday, the group issued a statement on an al Qaeda-linked website saying the men targeted an Israeli patrol with a bomb, antitank rockets and gunfire. It said the attack was dedicated to “Sheik Mujhahid Osama bin Laden,” the al Qaeda founder who was assassinated by U.S. troops last year.

Here is the video.

The Long War Journal adds:

In videos released by the Ibn Taymiyyah Media Center, MSC members stand in front of al Qaeda-style flags. And, in a statement, the MSC dedicated the attack to slain al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden. “We present this blessed invasion … to the soul of the lion of Islam, the reviver of jihad, and the raiser of the banner, Sheikh Mujahid Osama bin Muhammad bin Laden,” the MSC says, according to a translation by SITE.

The MSC also dedicates the attack to “the Syrian Muslim jihadi people,” to “all the mujahideen and their commanders and emirs in all the battlefields of jihad,” and to the “Salafi Jihadi oppressed lions in the land of the Gaza glory.”

The MSC repeats common jihadist talking points, saying it is waging jihad “to become a building block in the global project aiming for the return of the rightly-guided Caliphate and the institution of the pure Shariah.”

The MSC identified the two fighters who led the raid in Israel as an Egyptian named Khalid Salah Abdul Hadi Jadullah (a.k.a. Abu Salah al Masri) and a Saudi named Adi Saleh Abdullah al Fudhayli al Hadhli (a.k.a Abu Hudhayfa al Hudhali).

Update: Al-Arabiya has more on the video.

“We announce the formation of the Shura Council of the Mujahideen of Jerusalem as the foundation of a blessed Jihadi operation, with a clear path and features to be a brick in the global project of bringing back the [Islamic] caliphate,” one masked gunman said in the video.

“To the foes of God – the Jews – we say, you infidels must know that what is coming is different than what has preceded and we shall make you drink from the same poisonous glass you gave to the people of Islam in Jerusalem,” the gunman added.

This really isn’t news. Al Qaeda is Muslim Brotherhood…. Hamas is Muslim Brotherhood…. it’s always been that way. It’s all the same shit. It’s our numb nut feminist U.S State department that keeps on confusing us into thinking otherwise.

Moses would be pissed. Ten Commandments was recieved in what we now call a bad neighborhood

A no-man’s land with no one in charge.

Armed beduin in Sinai kidnapped two police officers and 17 soldiers, Egypt’s Al Ahram reported, in the latest in a series of kidnappings by beduin in the Sinai peninsula.
The kidnapping took place in northern Sinai in reaction to the killing of a man that was attempting to smuggle tobacco into bordering Israel, “official sources” told the Egyptian newspaper.
Security in the Sinai peninsula has deteriorated since the overthrow of former president Hosni Mubarak, as beduin long-complaining of neglect from Cairo have kidnapped tourists, foreign workers and taken over a seaside resort, holding the employees hostage.
The natural gas pipeline to Israel and Jordan has also been bombed at least 12 times in the past year, though in that development the Egyptian authorities have hired beduin tribesman to provide security.
Last week, beduin kidnapped two American women in an apparent attempt to hold them for ransom, only to release them to army authorities a few hours later.
While the Egyptian army did not comment on the conditions of the women’s release, a beduin source said the authorities had agreed to a demand to free four fellow tribesmen from police custody in exchange for the two tourists.

Israel agreed after Mubarak was deposed that Egypt could station troops in Sinai for the first time since the Camp David accords were implemented.
