Prehistoric #dildo among ancient findings in northern #Israel

Generally involved snake worship. The Gods were actually brought into Helenism, but demoted in importance (which is how the Greeks paid tribute to foreign cultures). Medusa was actually an important lead deity that was demoted by the Greeks because she was a threat to their power structure. my source is actually Joseph Campbell… who a lot of people talk about, but rarely read or at least they don’t admit they don’t read him.

Archaeologists have uncovered remnants of a Stone Age culture on the route of a planned rail line in northern Israel, including obsidian arrowheads and fertility objects like a stone phallus and a carved depiction of female genitalia. The oldest ruins at the site date to 9,000 years ago, the Israel Antiquities Authority said, but it was still inhabited thousands of years later. The location was excavated in a salvage dig ahead of the construction of new train tracks from Haifa to Carmiel.
The findings include the most complete buildings from that time discovered so far in Israel, and some of the oldest evidence of organized legume agriculture in the Middle East, archaeologists Yitzhak Paz and Yaakov Vardi said in a statement.
The objects discovered at the site also show that residents traded with faraway cultures, they said.
“The large number of tools made from obsidian, which is not found in Israel, shows trade ties with Turkey, Georgia and other areas as long ago as this period,” read the statement, released earlier this month.
The fertility objects, like the small stone phallus, “also represented the fertility of the land,” they said. The archaeologists link those findings to a civilization that existed in what is now Israel between 5500 and 4500 BCE.
The civilization, known as the Wadi Rabbah culture, was named for the first site at which it was discovered northeast of Tel Aviv in the 1950s

Senator’s sex scandal shuts feminist daughter’s mouth

February 12, 2013
Alicia-Menendez

(WND) While Sen. Bob Menendez, D-N.J., is fighting for his political life following revelations that he and a wealthy donor are under FBI investigation for Dominican Republic trips the senator took on the eye doctor’s private plane as well as accusations he engaged in sex with under-age prostitutes while there, one prominent supporter has been conspicuously silent – his media-star daughter Alicia Menendez, a Democratic Party adviser.

Alicia Menendez is the former co-director of “The Vagina Monologues,” an episodic feminist play comprised of soliloquies read by women dealing with matters including sex, love, rape, menstruation, female genital mutilation, masturbation, birth, orgasm, the various common names for the vagina, or simply as a physical aspect of the body. She is a former Harvard gender studies major who is a host on “Huffpost Live” and a frequent guest on CNN, Fox News and MSNBC.

Known for her outspokenness, even on matters involving her own prominent family, she once wrote that her “gringa” mother claimed to be Dominican in a past life.
Alicia Menendez’s mother, the former Jane Jacobsen, teaches sex education in the Union City school district. She and her former husband were divorced in 2005. The divorce documents are sealed.
Alicia Menendez came to fame for being a feminist. It was her 2005 senior thesis on gender studies that got her media attention; The New York Times and U.S. News and World Report gave her work mentions. The 87-page thesis, “To Whom Many Doors are Still Locked: Gender, Space, and Power, in Harvard Final Clubs,” decried a culture of male domination at the Ivy League school.
“Establishing yourself as a big man on campus is pretty formulaic, but there’s no such woman at Harvard who has done that to a positive capacity [sic],” Menendez told the student newspaper.
“The Harvard campus can be a very lonely place,” she explained. “And meeting beautiful, smart, socially adept women here is not an easy task.”
She was especially critical of Harvard’s men’s clubs, which she says relegated women to being “perpetually guests” on the campus social scene.
The thesis, obtained by WND through Harvard’s library, is focused on the injustice that the women’s clubs don’t have their own building.
“Tired of discussing the inequalities of ownership of space in private forums, it became my objective to examine the role of final club buildings and their implications for the men and women who are a part of the final club community,” she wrote in the introduction to her “ethnographic study.”
She added: “As a woman, as a feminist, as an ethnic minority … I recognize that I am not supposed to be a part of this supposed elitism, but I am,” she wrote.
As for her topic on “gendered power and social space,” she writes, “I did not choose this subject; it chose me.”
The feminist screed about the clubs includes buzzwords and phrases such as “male role models,” “homosocial legacies,” “male privilege,” “single-sex group identification,” “objectification,” and “Lolita fetishism.”
Alicia Menendez continued to write on gender issues after she graduated, ever quick to write on the latest political sex scandal. In 2008 she was fascinated by the prostitution story of former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer.
“As the updates streamed in, I got a good look at how the story was shaping,” she wrote at the time. “Eliot Spitzer did something very wrong but fairly ordinary: he hired a prostitute. It’s only so extraordinary because of who Eliot Spitzer is and what Eliot Spitzer purports to stand for.”
She remained fascinated by Spitzer’s sex scandal and others, even going so far as to write whimsical online advice for politicians going through them, titled “What to Do When Scandals Hit”:
“Admitting that you’ve done something wrong is the first step. If you’re there, that’s half the battle,” she wrote. After trying to find a true friend, she enumerated a few dos and don’ts. “Don’t give yourself room to lie (any more than you already have). Don’t rely on half truths. And please, please don’t over share.”
That post (and others like it) have been scrubbed from the website that she co-founded. Perhaps she’s trying to follow her own advice offered as a candidate’s daughter in 2008: “The cardinal rule for candidates’ children, whether they choose to hit the campaign trail or not, is the same: Don’t do anything stupid.”

Repeated attempts to reach Alicia Menendez by email and Twitter were unsuccessful.(MORE)

Study: Israeli teens less sexually active than Europeans

Israeli youth become more conservative, less active

New study reveals that Israeli youths have less sex than their Western counterparts, but talk about it just as much‬‬
The study was conducted by the World Health Organization and sampled thousands of 10th graders from all over the world, 874 of them from Israel. The results indicate that 18.5% of Israeli 10th graders reported having sexual intercourse.
However, it seems Israel’s youth are becoming more and more conservative; in a study conducted in 1998 the number of sexually active 15-year-olds was 27%.
Cold winter, hot youth
According to the current study, students from Greenland are the most sexually active with  59.8% of 10th graders admitting to being sexually active. Denmark came in second with 37.7%; Romania was third with 32.9%; Austria and Sweden tied for fourth with 31.6%; England came in fifth with 31% and Luxemburg came in sixth with 30.9%.
At the other end of the spectrum, closing the list at the 35th place was Slovakia with only 12.7% of 15-year-olds reportedly having sex. In the 34th place was Poland with 15.7%; in the 33rd – Ukraine with 18% and Israel at the 32nd place with 18.5%.
Israeli teenagers lost the 31st place to Croatia, that has a rate of 19.2% sexually actively teenagers.
Some 5.9% of the boys and 3.7% of the girls reported that their first sexual encounter was at the age of 12. As the age rises to 15, a higher number of girls report sexual activities in comparison to boys.
Underage sex, underage protection
The research was conducted by the head of the World Health Organization’s international research team in Israel, Dr. Yossi Harel-Fisch and Dr. Meyran Boniel-Nissim, both from the Bar-Ilan University.
Dr. Harel-Fisch said that public health research around the world and in Israel is geared towards educating youths on the dangers of unprotected sex, which according to him leads to unwanted teen pregnancy and raises chances of contracting sexually transmitted diseases.
Hila Segal, head of the Sexuality and Injury Prevention unit at the Education Ministry, said that in the past few years parents and teachers have become more and more conservative.
She claimed that sex at a young age can cause serious psychological and physical harm. “We keep finding sexual activity based on pressure, leading to regret. In some cases rumors and pictures spread around afterwards, exacting a heavy personal price.”
In addition, she added that over the past 20 years more and more educators in the system are talking to kids about the benefits of emotional, as well as psychical, maturity as a prerequisite to sexual activity.

Petraeus Resigns as CIA Head, Supposedly Over Extramarital Affair: Updated

November 9, 2012

I’m willing to bet that Obama knew about the extramarital affair of Petraeus for some time. It was exposed when it became convenient

(Jamie) Just being reported. Very interesting.

David Petraeus today resigned as director of the CIA after admitting an extra-marital affair.
The former general had been one of the most respected figures in the military and intelligence establishment, but has stepped down to deal with the ‘personal and professional issues’ surrounding his relationship with a woman who is not his wife.

The feminist administration: where admitting 1 had an affair is how 1 covers up the gross abuse of superiors. Apparently sending a gay man to meet with the Muslim Brotherhood and then not protecting him after being told it wasn’t working is never going to see the light of day. Thanks feminists… you really showed us the non transparency guys like me expected. Don’t talk about gender or lose your job. don’t talk about the incompetence of progressives or they expose your sex life. Petraeus was fine when he was telling the soldiers they had to be potty trained with Shariah and poop in the direction of Jerusalem (no joke), but when he became expendable… the penis had to be castrated out of the hipster union.

(Kessler: FBI Investigation Led to Petraeus Resignation)Ronald Kessler reporting from Washington, D.C. — The resignation of David H. Petraeus as CIA director followed an FBI investigation of many months, raising the question of why he was not forced out until after the election.
In his letter of resignation, Petraeus cited an extra-marital affair he had been having. “After being married for over 37 years, I showed extremely poor judgment by engaging in an extramarital affair,” Petraeus said in his letter to President Obama. “Such behavior is unacceptable, both as a husband and as the leader of an organization such as ours.”
Petraeus, who had a distinguished military career, revealed no additional details. However, an FBI source says the investigation began when Petraeus was stationed in Afghanistan and American intelligence mistook an email Petraeus had sent to his girlfriend as a reference to corruption. Petraeus was commander of U.S. Forces in Afghanistan from July 4, 2010 until July 18, 2011. The woman who was having an affair with Petraeus is a journalist.
Given his top secret clearance and the fact that Petraeus is married, the FBI continued to investigate and intercept Petraeus’ email exchanges with the woman. The emails include sexually explicit references to such items as sex under a desk.
Such a relationship is a breach of top secret security requirements and could have compromised Petraeus.
At some point after Petraeus was sworn in as CIA director on Sept. 6, 2011, the woman broke up with him. However, Petraeus continued to pursue her, sending her thousands of emails over the last several months, raising even more questions about his judgment.
Neither Petraeus nor the CIA’s Office of Public Affairs had any immediate comment.
FBI agents on the case expected that Petraeus would be asked to resign immediately rather than risk the possibility that he could be blackmailed to give intelligence secrets to foreign intelligence agencies or criminals. In addition, his pursuit of the woman could have distracted him as the CIA was giving Congress reports on the attack on the Benghazi consulate on Sept. 11.
The CIA ‘s reporting to Congress included a claim that protests over a YouTube video played a role in the attacks, thus allowing Obama to initially discount the possibility that the U.S. had suffered another terrorist attack just before the election.
In contrast, based on real time video and reports, the State Department was reporting that the attack that led to the deaths of four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, was terrorist-related. The State Department reported that there were no protests at the consulate.
Still, the FBI, Justice Department, and the White House held off on asking for Petraeus’ resignation until after the election. His resignation occurred three days after the election, avoiding the possibility that Obama’s ill-fated appointment of Petraeus could become an issue in the election.
FBI agents on the case were aware that such a decision had been made to hold off on forcing him out until after the election and were outraged.
“The decision was made to delay the resignation apparently to avoid potential embarrassment to the president before the election,” an FBI source says. “To leave him in such a sensitive position where he was vulnerable to potential blackmail for months compromised our security and is inexcusable.”
Michael Kortan, the FBI’s assistant director for public affairs, said he had no comment.

(usnews.nbcnews.com)Here is Petraeus’ resignation letter:

HEADQUARTERS Central Intelligence Agency
9 November 2012
Yesterday afternoon, I went to the White House and asked the President to be allowed, for personal reasons, to resign from my position as D/CIA. After being married for over 37 years, I showed extremely poor judgment by engaging in an extramarital affair. Such behavior is unacceptable, both as a husband and as the leader of an organization such as ours. This afternoon, the President graciously accepted my resignation.
As I depart Langley, I want you to know that it has been the greatest of privileges to have served with you, the officers of our Nation’s Silent Service, a work force that is truly exceptional in every regard. Indeed, you did extraordinary work on a host of critical missions during my time as director, and I am deeply grateful to you for that.
Teddy Roosevelt once observed that life’s greatest gift is the opportunity to work hard at work worth doing. I will always treasure my opportunity to have done that with you and I will always regret the circumstances that brought that work with you to an end.
Thank you for your extraordinary service to our country, and best wishes for continued success in the important endeavors that lie ahead for our country and our Agency.
With admiration and appreciation,
David H. Petraeus

A couple in bed: researchers wanted to know whether successful artists have more lovers

If you thought the UKGuardian’s coverage of Operation Cast Lead and the resulting Goldstone Report based on anonymous witnesses was absurd… this story is going to convince you of the stupidity of this newspaper. The claim is that they can predict how much sex people have based on math.

Yeah… it’s pretty funny that no one is there to question them… and I sure as hell wouldn’t leave a comment to get trolled by some wannabe cultural elitist.

Ok… get this: The UK Guardian’s math supposedly expects people in cultural institutions like art schools to be honest about the sex they are participating in. As an artist myself (oh and yes I was)… and someone who has been on the inside of these systems I can tell you my reputation was horrible. I’m sure many of my classmates had me pegged as someone who didn’t have sex at all… but the truth is there were a lot of repressed women who did sleep with me, and could not talk about it… because admitting that they slept with a divisive fellow like myself would hurt their reputation.  (When you  lie with dogs you wake up with fleas! I’m not boasting about this, because I was looking for a public relationship… in an effort to improve my public image.)  Further… I don’t know why this newspaper would take the word of people who were sleeping around. It’s like as if there would be no social friction that could occur as a result of rejecting one mate and moving on to the next.  That social friction being a very large variable that would make any study impossible.

I can understand the need to prove this. Many grumbling persons have looked in envy at public figures who have met with public acceptance and have complained that they have become dominant to the pool of sexual prey,… dominant to the point where someone wonders why they would be respected… (I suppose we could ask a guy like Jullian Assange what happens when you become way too respectable to the cultural elite).  My point is that there are simply some things that are common sense… and if you reach a situation where the other party doesn’t want to believe something as obvious as what this study was trying to prove then you probably shouldn’t be around that other person or you have got to accept if you stay around that there are benefits of being around someone who is obviously hostile.  As someone who has had the unfortunate experience of looking into the private records of an artistic institution and suffered the result of the institution and it’s sexual environment (yes I was in jail… actually if I had known there were University records I would of not been in jail at all.  Some people out there are still censoring this blog… the state of Washington really thinks they can get away with censorship)… I can say that this kind of conjecture sells newspapers, but it has no substance. If the people around you don’t agree to your analysis… it’s probably best to just take the abuse or get the hell out of there. Trying to prove what kind of sexual acrobatics go on in a public forum is a messy business. When you dig up dirt you are liable to fall into a hole.

….To deal with their realisation that some artists get a lot of sex while others get little or none, Helen Clegg, Daniel Nettle and Dorothy Miell made use of an ancient tool – a tool that mathematicians count among the sexiest of mankind’s inventions. The logarithm.
The trio had joined forces, as they later described it, to “investigate the relationship between mating success and artistic success in a sample of 236 visual artists”.
Clegg is a University of Northampton senior lecturer in psychology, Nettle a professor of behavioural science at Newcastle University and Miell the head of the College of Humanities and Social Science at the University of Edinburgh.
Their report, called Status and Mating Success Amongst Visual Artists, appears in the journal Frontiers in Psychology.
The study gives us barely any numerical detail. It says only this: “The distribution of number of sexual partners for these participants was highly skewed with a minimum of 0 and a maximum of 250 (M=10.67). Therefore, the data were converted to a log scale and [we performed our analysis] using this scale.”
That “M=10.67” is the median. Half of the 236 artists had had, each of them, fewer than 10.67 lovers. The other artists each had had in excess of 10.67 bedmates. Or so they told the researchers.
Two lovers. Twenty lovers. Two hundred lovers. They seem almost to be from different universes, the collections of five or six lovers, versus the serial harems of 100 or 200. How to talk coherently about a hodgepodge of small and big numbers?
You do it with logarithms. Roughly speaking (I don’t have room here to go into much detail), the logarithm of a particular number tells – measures, really – how many extra digits that number has.
The number 1 has no extra digits. Its logarithm is zero. The number 10 has one extra digit. Its logarithm is 1. The number 100 has two extra digits; its logarithm is 2. The logarithm of 101 is ever-so-slightly bigger than 2 (it’s about 2.0043). The logarithm of 250 is bigger still (about 2.3979).
The logarithm is a concise, rough way to compare things across vast scales of bigness and smallness. That painter who’s got a new girlfriend every few months? About log 2. That lonely graffiti gal whom everyone shuns? Log zero, it seems.
The researchers used logarithms also when they tried to understand a related set of numbers.
They had computed what they call the “mating strategy index” of the various artists. “Each one-night stand gained one point, each relationship up to a month two points, and soon up to each relationship 10 years or over, which gained eight points. The total number of points for each person was added up and divided by their total number of relationships.”
After tiptoeing through all their data and computations, the artists-and-sex researchers decided that “more successful male artists had more sexual partners than less successful artists, but this did not hold for female artists”.

My grandmother died when I was in college. She told me to turn my tongue three times before saying anything. That was her advice to me. I never took her advice. It isn’t my nature. Besides I benefit too much by acting like I know the answer. I can’t help who I am, but I know she was smart enough on her deathbed to see that I was falling. She had the funniest personality. At first glance she seemed like Betty White or Victoria Jackson. She never had any presumption of intelligence or knowing things. She knew how to not appear smart… oh did she fool us all. She had all the answers… you had to pry it out of her. She plaid stupid all the time.

Cheap dates – How the ‘price’ of sex has dropped to record lows

October 2, 2011
the media makes a note of how the progressives have caused an imbalance in our lives, but the feminist solution will cause repression and a break down of our economy. very sad that the people who have access to research are part of the problem.. Obviously written from a feminist or womanist (whatever they want to call themselves this week) point of view because we all understand that sex is already scarce… in fact many of our economic problems are related directly to it’s scarcity. Sex should be part of daily life. The modern day Mohammad can thank the feminists for his cost effective brothel. With no American man working… guess who is buying all our workforce? They don’t call it the service sector for nothing. Guess who gets the job and guess who doesn’t? Do a Google search for the word “Mancession”.
(NYPOST) In today’s lousy economy, men can take comfort in knowing that there is one sought-after good that is becoming steadily more affordable: sex. Women are jumping into the sack faster and with fewer expectations about long-term commitments than ever, effectively discounting the “price” of sex to a record low, according to social psychologists. More than 25% of young women report giving it up within the first week of dating. While researchers don’t have a baseline to compare it to, interviews they have conducted lead them to believe this is higher than before, which increases the pressure on other women and changes the expectations of men. “The price of sex is about how much one party has to do in order to entice the other into being sexual,” said Kathleen Vohs, of the University of Minnesota, who has authored several papers on “sexual economics.” “It might mean buying her a drink or an engagement ring. These behaviors vary in how costly they are to the man, and that is how we quantify the price of sex.” By boiling dating down to an economic model, researchers have found that men are literally getting lots of bang for their buck. Women, meanwhile, are getting very little tat for their . . . well, you get the idea. Sex is so cheap that researchers found a full 30% of young men’s sexual relationships involve no romance at all — no wooing, dating, goofy text messaging. Nothing. Just sex. Men want sex more than women do. It’s a fact that sounds sexist and outdated. But it is a fact all the same — one that women used for centuries to keep the price of sex high (if you liked it back in the day, you really had to put a ring on it). With gender equality, the Pill and the advent of Internet porn, women’s control of the meet market has been butchered. As a result, says Mark Regnerus, a sociologist at the University of Texas at Austin, men are “quicker to have sex in our relationships these days, slower to commitment and just plain pickier.” The issue is partly one of supply and demand, and it begins at US colleges, where 57% of students are women. With such an imbalanced sex ratio, women are using hookups to compete with other women for men’s affections. Once they get out of school, the pool of successful, educated men also is imbalanced, and the bed-hopping continues. Regnerus likens the price of sex to the housing market. Too many foreclosures in one community, and the price of neighboring homes start to plummet. This is why single women in New York sometimes feel as though sex on the first date is a given: According to the market, it is. “Every sex act is part of a ‘pricing’ of sex for subsequent relationships,” Regnerus said. “If sex has been very easy to get for a particular young man for many years and over the course of multiple relationships, what would eventually prompt him to pay a lot for it in the future — that is, committing to marry?” Did you answer, “Love”? You’re adorable. “Sexual strategies for making men ‘fall in love’ typically backfire, because men don’t often work like that,” Regnerus says. It’s little wonder that the percentage of 25- to 34-year-olds who are married has shrunk by an average of 1% each year this past decade — down to 46% now. Single women have been catching on, but those who don’t discount sex say they can’t seem to get anyone to “pay” their higher price. As with many other markets, outsourcing and technology have affected the price of sex as well. “If men don’t want to take the time to woo a real woman, they can watch sex acts in high definition with images of women who never say no,” Regnerus says. “If you have a suboptimal date with someone you met online, you’re apt now to log on and see who else is available rather than to have another try at it.” The poor economy is adding to men’s reluctance to commit. Men worry about not being able to provide for a family and about the economic pitfalls of divorce. So, what can women do to return the balance of sexual power in their favor? Stop putting out, experts say. If women collectively decided to cross their legs, the price of sex would soar and women would regain control of the market. Like a whoopie cartel. Women in less egalitarian countries do tend to restrict sex as a means of keeping the cost high. That would explain all the violence in the third word.
This makes sense when women have no access to education and employment. But in the US, it would take a major cultural movement for women to convince each other to say no to nookie. “Let’s be realistic: It’s not going to happen here,” Regnerus says. “Women don’t really need men and marriage — economically, socially, and culturally — like they once did. What I hear in interviews with women is plenty of complaining about men or about the dating scene, but their annoyance is seldom directed at other women.”Stats prove that those who have sex regularly are happier and live longer. Denying sex will create repression and that will cause anger, violence and misery… which is exactly what is happening. Again the media notes a problem… and the solution they prescribe is part of the problem. a young attractive girl has no problem getting work out of college. When foreign money comes and colonializes America the pretty young girls from Oregon and Washington state will be the first to be employed. Most of us are well aware of that phenomenon. In the old days of Mohammad it was a little bit less discrete, but we know what the rest of the world thinks of our women. They give it a nice name. They call it the service sector. We are aware the ladies have work. Sorry the truth is offensive… but there is a reason Conservative women are getting elected… it is because so called Conservative women have money. They are the ones who get hired… and it isn’t because of any talent… or at least not because of any legal talent. If the price of sex drops then the free market reacts by increasing the supply… this means PROSTITUTION. If one man can not afford to keep one woman happy then she distributes the financial burden. The rich then can afford to put together their harems on a cost effective basis.
