All hell breaking loose? Iran threatens Dimona Nuclear Reactor

November 26, 2011

On Saturday, Iran threatened to hit Israel’s nuclear plant in Dimona if Israel attacked Iran.

Former head of the Guards’ Political Bureau Brigadier Yadollah Javani said, “If Israel fires [a] rocket at one of our nuclear facilities or vital centers, it should know that any point of Israel, such as its nuclear facilities, would be a target for our rockets and we have [that] capability,” Iranian news agency ISNA reported.
“Today, our enemies have been locked in a quagmire and they see no way out, so they make contradictory comments,” he contended. “They raise military threats against Iran whereas they do not possess such a capability.”

Curiously, Iran also threatened Turkey (Hat Tip: Joshua I).

A senior commander of Iran’s powerful Revolutionary Guard says the country will target NATO’s missile defense shield in Turkey if the US or Israel attacks the Islamic Republic.
Gen. Amir Ali Hajizadeh, the head of the Guards’ aerospace division, is quoted by the semiofficial Mehr news agency as saying the warning is part of a new defense strategy to counter what it sees as an increase in threats from the US and Israel.

“Should we be threatened, we will target NATO’s missile defense shield in Turkey and then hit the next targets,” the semiofficial Mehr news agency quoted Hajizadeh as saying.
Tehran says NATO’s early warning radar station in Turkey is meant to protect Israel against Iranian missile attacks if a war breaks out with the Jewish state. Ankara agreed to host the radar in September as part of NATO’s missile defense system aimed at countering ballistic missile threats from neighboring Iran.

Is Iran starting to realize that the sky is falling?
By the way, Israel quietly took delivery on a shipment of Patriot missiles in the past few weeks.

Every Qassam Counts! Don’t Ignore The Facts

November 6, 2011

(Shiloh Musings) Yes, the Arabs attacked Israel again. The Gazan Arabs launched rockets, missiles, weapons, qassams at Israel. They landed in Ashkelon. The day before the Arabs had also attacked Israel; the missiles landed in the Eshkol Region.
Ashkelon and the Eshkol Region are easy targets for the Arab terrorists in Gaza. It’s one of the reasons that Israel must prevent more weapons and terrorists from reaching Gaza.

The Israel Government, like all governments in the world, has an obligation to do anything and everything to protect its citizens.
I have no doubt that the Arab terrorists who are attacking Israel are connected to Bin Laden’s terrorist organization. MEMRI.

In this picture, Abbas is seen with released prisoner Amal Jum’a. Jum’a was arrested with explosives in May 2004, the day before her planned suicide bombing in a Tel Aviv market. Abbas is holding a representation of the PA map of “Palestine” that includes Israel and the PA areas. A poem glorifying Martyrdom death is written on the map:

“Mother, death has come. Prepare the death shroud. Mother, to my death I march. I do not hesitate.”

Those Arab terrorists who want to destroy Israel endanger the entire world!

Since the release of Palestinian prisoners in exchange for the Israeli hostage Gilad Shalit, Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas has repeatedly honored and glorified the released prisoners.
On the day of their release, Abbas greeted each one at a general ceremony in Ramallah and has since then publicly praised and honored them. (more on Palestine Media Watch PMW)

Syria placed long-range missiles equipped with chemical warheads on high alert after an attack on a Syrian nuclear plant in 2007, WikiLeaks documents obtained by Yedioth Ahronoth indicate.
In March 2008, then Prime Minister Ehud Olmet met with then Minority Leader of the US House of Representatives John Boehner and several US congressmen. Olmert addressed Operation Cast Lead which was in the final planning states and said that Israel had plans to cause considerable damage to Hamas in Gaza. He then added that the government was considering when and how to act.
…When confronted with a question on the attack on the Syrian nuclear plant in Deir ez Zor, the former prime minister said he never publically addressed the matter but noted the fact that gas tanks belonging to Israeli planes were found near the Syrian-Turkish border.
“Bashar is no dummy,” he added, since he decided not to respond to the September 2007 event. Olmert said that Syria’s mobile missile system were on full alert, but that Assad decided not to order them to fire. “That took discipline,” he noted.

France to sell missiles to Lebanese

August 29, 2010

Sources: Israel, US trying to prevent arms sale to Lebanese Army.

Israel and the US are attempting to prevent a French-Lebanese arms deal that could lead to increased Israeli casualties in any future confrontation, Channel 10 cited from a Friday report by Arabic daily Asharq al-Awsat. According to the report, French Defense Minister Herve Moran sent a letter to his Lebanese counterpart Elias Murr offering to sell Lebanon 100 HOT anti-tank missiles to be armed on the Gazelle helicopters already in use by Lebanese Armed Forces.

Sarkozy says Obama’s position on Islam is crazy, but he still has to make a buck obviously.

IDF Lt.-Col. (res.) Dov Harari, 45, was killed and Capt. (res.) Ezra Lakia was seriously wounded, as well three LAF soldiers and one Lebanese journalist killed, when both sides exchanged fire after IDF soldiers attempted to cut down a tree on the Israeli side of the border.

The IDF had informed the UNIFIL peacekeeping force along the border ahead of time of the intended tree-clearing operation.

UNIFIL later confirmed that the IDF troops were on the Israeli side of the border
when the incident occurred, contradicting LAF claims that Lebanese
sniper fire directed at the Israeli troops had been justified by an
incursion upon Lebanese territory.
