US to Sell F-16 to Egypt in Grapel Deal

October 28, 2011
(INN) Yazal told the Bethlehem-based Ma’an news agency early Thursday that the U.S. agreed to the price during negotiations for Ilan’s release — a deal that had been rejected by Washington during the Mubarak years in order to maintain the balance of military power in the region. Israel is being seen as having been the main obstacle to the deal in the past however, having objected to the U.S. selling the F-16 to Egypt because it would equalize Cairo’s aerial capabilities with those of the IAF. However, Israel’s resistance to the sale has since diminished due to the development of the F-35, which Israel is set to receive within the next five years, and which will once again upgrade the IAF’s regional military superiority. Israel will spend more than $200 million per F-35i fighter aircraft, according to Defense Industry Daily. Delivery of the aircraft is not expected, however, until at least 2016.

What is the incentive for Arab governments to not do this anymore? Progressive ASSHATS like Zuckerberg’s sister Randi was in Dubai during the period of the Hamas assassination for example. When Left wing Jewish youth start believing the social media hype about peace and stuff, how many murderers will Israel have to let go of next time?

The US on Thursday denied reports that they agreed to sell an F-16 fighter plane to Egypt in connection with the release of Ilan Grapel.

Egypt, Israel agree on Grapel deal

October 25, 2011
(Ancho Gosh/AP) – Ilan Grapel, seen here in an Israel hospital in 2006, was arrested in Cairo on June 12 after being accused of spying and has been held without charge since.

(EOZ) From Al Arabiya:

Egypt and Israel said Monday they have finalized arrangements to exchange an alleged Israeli spy for 25 Egyptians held in Israeli jails, on the heels of a Hamas-Israel prisoner swap.
“Egypt has agreed to release Ilan Grapel and at Egypt’s request Israel has agreed to free 25 Egyptian prisoners,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said in a statement.
According to the statement, the Egyptians lined up for release –including three minors – are not security prisoners.

Egypt’s official MENA news agency said the swap is expected to take place “in the next two days.”
The deal is subject to the approval of Israel’s 14-member security cabinet which is due to convene on Tuesday, the statement said. But it is highly unlikely to reject the agreement.(The Washington Post)

October 2, 2011

Israel Radio reports that the London-based pan-Arabic daily al-Hayat reports that US-Israeli dual citizen Ilan Grapel will be released by Egypt on Tuesday. Grapel has been held by the Egyptians since June on charges of spying, but according to the report, the Egyptians now admit that he is not a spy. On Saturday, AFP reported that Egypt was considering releasing Grapel ‘soon.’

Jewish Israeli claims to be a Muslim to extend VISA. Accused of being Spy

June 18, 2011

Speaking of eating Shit Steak:

Ilan Grapel is not a Mossad spy, just a fool…The story of Ilan Grapel, the American-Israeli accused of spying on Egypt for the Mossad, is gathering legs.

The US consul in Cairo met with alleged Mossad spy Ilan Grapel, who was arrested in Egypt last week, and told him he was “in big trouble,” Egyptian newspaper Al-Ahram reported Friday. According to the report, Grapel asked during his stay in Egypt to extend his visa, and wrote on the application that he is a Muslim who came to Cairo to study. On Thursday, Al-Ahram reported that Grapel, an Israeli-American citizen, could face indictment next week over accusations by Egypt that he was spying for Israel. via israelmatzav.blogspot.com
