Allen West Hinting At Presidential Bid? “Remember, Abraham Lincoln Only Served One Term In Congress” Before He Ran For PresidentDecember 2, 2012
Weasel: Sounds like a hint to me.
MARTIN: So what’s next for you?
WEST: Look, you know, God closes a door so that he can open up greater doors. I will continue to, you know, stand up and fight for this country. That’s my goal. I have two daughters, 19 and 16, and I want to make sure that they grow up in a great America that provides them all the opportunities that it provided to their mother and father.
MARTIN: Congressman Allen West is completing his term in Congress. He was kind enough to join us from a House recording studio on Capitol Hill here in Washington, D.C.
WEST: And always remember, Abraham Lincoln only served one term in Congress, too.
MARTIN: Duly noted. Congressman West, thank you so much for speaking with us.
(newsmax.com) U.S. Rep. Allen West, who generally has deflected suggestions that he could be a vice-presidential candidate, now is saying he would “step up to the plate” if asked.
The freshman Florida Republican and tea party favorite took that swing at pitches from three constituents at a town hall meeting, according to The Palm Beach Post.
In answer to the voters’ written questions at the meeting, West said: “If people come to me and ask me to continue to serve my country in a higher capacity, I’m not going to say no. It would be an incredible privilege and honor. I doubt that I’m on anybody’s list.
my father seems to think that Santorum would be a VP for Romney. lolz… very amusing to hear how the left thinks the right would act. The GOP is not about accumulating power through partnerships… like Clinton and Obama. For example… the differences between the candidates in the GOP is very divisive. It’s almost like Ron Paul is in an opposition party. No Republican will be picking Ron Paul as a VP and it’s doubtful that Santorum would be a VP in a Romney presidency. Allen West is the logical choice.
(EYE) First, a short history lesson.
Karl Marx believed that capitalism must be destroyed and replaced by socialism which will pave the way to communism:
Marx’s theories about society, economics and politics, which are collectively known as Marxism, hold that all societies progress through the dialectic of class struggle. He was heavily critical of the current socio-economic form of society, capitalism, which he called the “dictatorship of the bourgeoisie”, believing it to be run by the wealthy middle and upper classes purely for their own benefit, and predicted that, like previous socioeconomic systems, it would inevitably produce internal tensions which would lead to its self-destruction and replacement by a new system, socialism. Under socialism, he argued that society would be governed by the working class in what he called the “dictatorship of the proletariat”, the “workers state” or “workers’ democracy”. [Exactly what the Occupy Wall Street parasites are advocating for. -ed.] He believed that socialism would, in its turn, eventually be replaced by a stateless, classless society called pure communism. Along with believing in the inevitability of socialism and communism, Marx actively fought for the former’s implementation, arguing that both social theorists and underprivileged people should carry out organised revolutionary action to topple capitalism and bring about socio-economic change. [Again, exactly what Occupy Wall Street parasites and Obama are fighting for. -ed.]
Fast forward to 2011. Avowed Marxists radical leftist professors Cloward and Piven, heavily influenced by Saul Alinsky, took it even further, advocating that “government agencies with a flood of demands beyond the capacity of those agencies to meet”, which would collapse the economic system, resulting in violent takedown of the power by the “downtrodden”:
Their article called for “cadres of aggressive organizers” to use “demonstrations to create a climate of militancy.” Intimidated by threats of black violence, politicians would appeal to the federal government for help. Carefully orchestrated media campaigns, carried out by friendly, leftwing journalists, would float the idea of “a federal program of income redistribution,” in the form of a guaranteed living income for all — working and non-working people alike. Local officials would clutch at this idea like drowning men to a lifeline. They would apply pressure on Washington to implement it. With every major city erupting into chaos, Washington would have to act. This was an example of what are commonly called Trojan Horse movements — mass movements whose outward purpose seems to be providing material help to the downtrodden, but whose real objective is to draft poor people into service as revolutionary foot soldiers; to mobilize poor people en masse to overwhelm government agencies with a flood of demands beyond the capacity of those agencies to meet. The flood of demands was calculated to break the budget, jam the bureaucratic gears into gridlock, and bring the system crashing down. Fear, turmoil, violence and economic collapse would accompany such a breakdown — providing perfect conditions for fostering radical change. That was the theory.
Sounds familiar? This is what Obama is trying to achieve, with ballooning national debt and an overwhelmed welfare system. “We are on their side“, he said of the Occupy Wall Street “revolutionary foot soldiers” spoken of by Cloward and Piven.
And now, Allen West, calling a spade a spade:
…yeah… but my guess is that Obama has no intention of holding power when the system implodes. The thing about inflation is the long term effects of the abuse from printing money that is not reflective of a countries wealth could take years to collapse from within. When leftists say the economy has reached a point where it is no longer in free fall they fail to mention the long term effect of the problem created. This is going to be Obama’s argument. He is going to point out that he revived the economy… and that is the problem. What he is doing is juicing the economy full of sugar… and eventually our system will self destruct… but Obama will say… hey… it wasn’t me. This is very similar to what FDR did (though he didn’t live long enough to see the long term effects of his New Deal, but many of us remember the urban decay). Think of the inner city riots of the 70’s and the African American migration from rural America… because the government bailed out the white farmer (who no longer needed the black share cropper). The level of irresponsibility is exponential.
I hope America listens to people like Allen West. The Republican party is getting exciting. Allen West and Herman Cain are becoming the voice of the GOP… that is no longer apologizing for protecting us from Islam. Video via themadjewess.wordpress.com
A letter containing white powder and a threat was opened at Congressman Allen West’s office this afternoon, prompting a HazMat response, officials said.
Firefighters were called to the office, near the 2000 block of North Federal Highway, about 1:30 pm, said Frank Correggio, city fire-rescue spokesman.
Staffers in West’s office in Washington and West Palm Beach said they were aware of the threat but didn’t know any details.
More information wasn’t immediately available.
Why is it that only black politicians seem to have the cojones to say about Muslims what everyone else is feeling but is scared to death by ‘political correctness to say?
My dream team for 2012 would be Allen West for President and Herman Cain for VP.
According to left wing loons at Think Progress...
As the Republican presidential nomination process begins, one GOP candidate is making a name for himself as the “Islamophobia” candidate: Herman Cain. Earlier this week, Cain gave an interview to Christianity Today in which he declared that, “based upon the little knowledge that I have of the Muslim religion, you know, they have an objective to convert all infidels or kill them.”
ThinkProgress caught up with the former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza today at the Conservative Principles Conference in Des Moines, Iowa, to discuss his comments further. We asked him, in light of his statements on Islam, would he be comfortable appointing any Muslims in his administration. Rather than skirting the question or hedging his answer, as most presidential aspirants are wont to do, Cain was definitive: “No, I would not.” Listen to the rest here:

MANSFIELD — A Mansfield North Central Ohio Tea Party Association event featuring a speaker on radical Islam will go on at 7 p.m. today as planned, but in a different location.
Usama Dakdok will speak at Premier Office Complex, 1456 Park Avenue West, Suite J. Attendees are advised to bring lawn chairs.
The group had planned to meet at its usual location at the high school until this morning, when Mansfield City Schools Superintendent Dan Freund, citing safety concerns, withdrew permission for the group to meet there.
Speaking at a 10:30 a.m. press conference at the school’s central office, 856 W. Cook Road, Freund said that, after consulting with Mansfield City Police, the school decided it could not guarantee public safety at a Mansfield North Central Ohio Tea Party Association event scheduled for 7 p.m. [emphasis added]
In his comments, Freund said the district’s decision was prompted by safety concerns and not by the presumed content of the scheduled speaker’s message.
The Mansfield Branch of NAACP followed with a press conference of their own at 11 a.m.
Shortly after 7:30 a.m. today, the NAACP announced it would hold a joint press conference at 11 a.m. to ask the Mansfield City Schools Board of Education and superintendent to withdraw permission for the tea party meeting tonight. Around 10 a.m., the superintendent’s office annnounced a press conference for 10:30 a.m.
According to a press release issued this morning, NAACP will be joined at the 11 a.m. press conference by representatives from the Council on American-Islamic Relations [CAIR, emphasis added], Mansfield Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance and other civic community leaders.
NAACP is asking for a “rigorous review” of the school’s facilities use guidelines and policies before an event scheduled for Mansfield Senior High School community room at 7 p.m. today.
Mansfield North Central Ohio Tea Party Association, which meets regularly at the high school, will host guest speaker Usama Dakdok. The press release announcing his appearance said that Dakdok will “reveal the ways that we are not just losing our freedoms, but that we are surrendering them to our enemy, radical Islam. He will explain what Islam is and what Muslims believe.” The event is open to the public and, according to the tea party press release “a freewill offering will be taken.”
The NAACP press release states: “We must stand together as a community and realize there exists many, diverse cultures in America. We as Americans have a right to choose whatever religion we wish to follow. It is our country’s diversity which has made us a nation rich in cultural experience and our children have a right to know that whatever faith they choose to follow, that they will not be judged by their color or religion, but by the content of their character.”…
