Editor’s note: It is a myth that people with tattoos cannot be buried in Jewish cemeteries; although not recommended by the tanakh, Judaism does not outright forbid tattoos.  The only act that will prevent someone from being buried in a Jewish cemetery is renouncing one’s Jewish faith.
